Sunburst Youth Camp (SYC)
The first Sunburst Youth Camp was held in 1998, with 7 countries participating. In 2001, all the 10 ASEAN counties participated. SYC spread its wings in Asia with the inclusion of China and India in 2003 and Kazakhstan in 2006.
For the 10th Anniversary celebrations, Korea have been invited to participate.
SYC has grown over the years and we now have more than 1200 participants spread across Asia.
Objectives of SYC
To provide opportunities for the youth of Asia to come together for a week of sharing and to build understanding, bonding and good-will through out Asia. |  |
Features of SYC
 |  | Experience rustic Singapore at the Outward Bound School (OBS) in Pulau Ubin, the thrill of rock-climbing and trust fall, the Sunburst Challenge and other activities for you to learn team building. |

| Learn about educational opportunities and scholarships available at our local Universities, have a hands-on science experience at the Singapore Science Centre and experience a world first at the Night Safari.
Commute with Mother Nature at our Parks, and test your culinary skills through our mix and match picnic. Experience Singapore’s urban development at City Gallery, the thrill of seeing Singapore from the air (by cable car), and challenge your planning and team work skills through the Urban Challenge. See the creatures of the sea at the Underwater World, Sentosa.
