STEP AND TEMASEK
STEP was set up in 1997 by the Singapore Technologies Private Ltd. (STPL), which was restructured in 2004.
Temasek Holdings, the parent company of STPL, assumed responsibility for STEP in 2005.
Temasek Holdings launched a S$500 million Temasek Trust on 16 May 2007 to share the fruits of its labour, and to play a constructive role in the continued progress and success of Asia and its people.
STEP is a not for profit philanthropic organizations supported by Temasek Trust.
