ST Endowment Programme (STEP) is a charitable organization set up by Singapore Technologies Private Ltd. (STPL) in 1997 to commemorate its 30th anniversary. STEP aims to reach out to the youth of the countries in this region through activities organized by its Secretariat. The Sunburst Youth Camp (SYC) is one such project to achieve this. With the re-structuring of STPL, Temasek Holdings (the parent company of ST) assumed responsibility for STEP in 2005. STEP currently has four Board members.
