Sunburst Scholarships
We brand our scholarships “SUNBURST” as we believe our scholars should be reflective of this. Like a Sunburst, our scholars should be vibrant, alive, dynamic and with the potential of having the energy of the Sun in generating life and vitality for future generations.
We seek young talent from Asia to come and study in Singapore. Your talent need not be strictly academic, as we believe the future leaders of tomorrow should have more than academic excellence.

Ten bond free scholarships will be offered annually in the following areas:

Courses of Study
The scholarships are opened for any course (except Medicine and Dentistry) available in any of the Institutions mentioned above. Courses applied for must also be those supported by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) Tuition Grant Scheme. Details on the Tuition Grant Scheme are available here…
Eligibility
Youth from any country in Asia that qualify and gain admission to the above Institutions above are encouraged to apply.
Criteria for selection:
If you are applying for academic programs, then academic excellence is important to us. However, where your course of study is in the creative, fine arts area, demonstrated success in this area is required.
Financial support
Our scholarships are for a maximum of 4 years (subject to annual review and based on the progress of the scholars).
The scholarships are valued up to a maximum of S$20,000 per year. This is meant to cover your fees,economy airfare, housing and living allowance and other expenses.
The actual amount disbursed will depend on the type of course undertaken and the Institution of study.
Bond
The scholarships are bond free. Non- Singaporean applicants however are to note that as the courses supported must be those subsidized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Tuition Grant Scheme. It is a condition of MOE that all such scholars will be required to work for a company in Singapore for a minimum of 3 years.
